Breckenridge Music would not be possible without the support of our community and volunteers. We always welcome our friends, supporters, and local students to volunteer with us through a variety of activities. We hope you will consider joining us.

Volunteer Opportunities Include

Concert Ushers

Greets patrons at the door, takes tickets, distribute programs, assist patrons with finding their seats, and answers general questions. Concert ushers are needed for year-round events.

EDUCATION AMBASSADORS

Work with us during the school year, welcoming students and teachers to programs, setting up for workshops, and representing Breck Music at events. During the summer, Education Ambassadors can assist with KidFest and the Free Family concert, setting up arts and craft stations, assisting a teacher with a workshop, and providing information to parents.

ADMINISTRATIVE VOLUNTEER

Working in the Breck Music office assisting with large mailings, filings, and other administrative tasks.

STUDENT AMBASSADORS

Special opportunities for students exist based on their interests from administrative support, to concert ushering, and assisting with guest artists

STREET TEAM

Help spread the word about our events through postering and distributing materials.

MUSICIAN LODGING PROGRAM

Host a musician or 2 and receive concert tickets in return for your hospitality. Breck Music is always in need of free or reduced housing for long and short term stays for musicians during the summer festival season.

HOST A CHAMPAGNE CONCERT

Champagne Concerts are intimate chamber music experiences hosted in private homes throughout Summit County featuring the Festival Chamber Orchestra musicians. Join us today and host one of these intimate events in your home.

Covid-19 Policy

Volunteer

  • The policy will be in effect beginning September 15, 2021.
  • As a requirement of entry, all ticket holders of BCA managed indoor public facilities will be required to present proof of COVID-19 vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours of entry, along with a state issued driver’s license or ID. Negative tests will be accepted until October 31, 2021, only. After October 31, 2021, only proof of vaccination will be accepted.
  • Guests ages 2 to 11 who are not eligible to receive a vaccine will be required to wear a mask at all times and must provide proof of a negative covid test within 48 hours
