Breckenridge Music unveils mobile AirStage for 2021 Summer Event Season

Retrofitted Iconic 1975 Airstream Trailer Brings Music, Art and Joy Back to Breckenridge. AirStage Contributes to the Well-Being of the Community and Animates Breckenridge with High-Quality, Elegant, and Diverse Live Art and Entertainment.

Breckenridge Music takes concerts outside, on the road and into your neighborhood with its new mobile stage, the Breck Music AirStage. Silver Bullet Trailers retrofitted the 1975 Airstream Ambassador Travel Trailer to accommodate a 14.5-foot wide by 9-foot deep stage. Performances at the AirStage will include neighborhood concerts, family-friendly pop-ups, artist residencies and special donor events as well as programming that supports Breckenridge Music Festival. Events by and large will be free with the goal of connecting neighbors within the communities of Breckenridge and greater Summit County. Blankets and folding chairs are encouraged to help make the concert experience more comfortable.

The AirStage is about connecting people - residents and visitors in a small-scale, mountain town way. While we are eager to get back to grand performances, the AirStage provides something that the community might not otherwise have access to. We hope we’ve found a way to spread joy within the constraints of the pandemic while we are unable to be in a traditional venue.

The main charm of the AirStage rests in the idea of intimacy. Events will feel like sitting around the campfire with fellow community members and the performers all under the influence of Breckenridge’s telltale historic charm. AirStage experiences could be as personal as five people or as grand as 300, next to the Blue River or in the center of town. Regardless, intimacy with the performer or artist remains a pillar of the AirStage’s, Breck Music’s and BreckCreate’s aesthetic.

Thank you to the generous donors who made the AirStage possible!
